Two watched competitors bought masonry and cladding yards this month: ABC Supply took Martini Brick Sales in Corpus Christi and GMS took Evergreen Building Products' four Washington locations. SRS Distribution's locator gained branches in Bow, New Hampshire and Green Bay, Wisconsin, and lost listings in Gaithersburg, Newtown Square, Loxley and north-east San Antonio; none of those four is a confirmed closure. Company-wide, Home Depot's chief executive began a medical leave with the CFO now over the Pro subsidiaries that own SRS and GMS, and QXO's new president and COO started on September 1.
